This is Wynd Realty’s last bi-monthly blog. For the last ten years, we have published a blog on the 1st and 15th of every month. The blog was critical to our initial roll-out and has always been a differentiator for us over the years. Simply put, no other Broker was messaging like we were. And the fact we were consistent with our Blog over such a long period of time, brings us much pride.
I have spent a great deal of my time over the last 4 decades writing for a living. I still see writing as an art form. But that is not the world we live in anymore. People are reading less. And when they do, they do so for pleasure. The world of business communications as I knew it no longer exists.
I read a lot of real estate-related articles. It’s becoming clear, the more I read, the surer I am the articles have had no human involvement.
For decades NAR ran this industry on a bed of flowery language. Pie in the sky BS that “sounded” good but actually said nothing. Well, the decades of that nonsense is now the basis for all the AI bots going forward. Garbage in garbage out.
It would be easy to load up 10 years of our blogs, press a button, and continually produce written pieces in our own voice. But we won’t do that. It’s best to retire the blog and toss it on the scrap heap with all the other technologies we no longer use.
Wynd Realty isn’t going away, just the blog is. Our messaging to the agent community will continue. And it will be as direct and honest as possible. Just like its always been.
I also want to thank all the long-time readers of the blog. While few in number, I have really appreciated all the wonderful comments and suggestions you guys have given us over the years. Why did our Blog last ten years? It’s because of you guys. And for that, I will forever be thankful.
